Corporate Programs Manager
Barb is a deadline driven, collaborative professional with a strong understanding of business whose background in sales, marketing and leadership is well suited to her role as the leader of RJC’s Corporate Programs group.
She leads a group who continually strive to find improved ways for RJC staff to work better and smarter, through the ongoing improvement and development of internal processes and programs. The Corporate Programs group work across many different areas. Among other responsibilities, they ensure that RJC is compliant with government laws and regulations, coordinate the firm’s security clearance programs, maintain corporate records and administer the internal employee education program. Barb’s work further includes responsibility for managing and tracking RJC’s liability claims process, corporate travel program, insurance program and policies, planning firm-wide events and conferences and overseeing corporate records and shareholder matters.
Barb is multilingual and attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University and British Columbia Institute of Technology in the greater Vancouver area, studying languages and business marketing management. She is a certified Global Travel Professional and maintains active member status with several travel, events and risk industry associations, including the Global Business Travel Association, Design Professional Risk Control Group and Meeting Professionals International. She is also a member of Maritime Travel’s Client Advisory Board.
