Daniel continually looks for better ways of doing things. He works to improve processes, to build on lessons learned and to bring real value to his clients. He has strong working relationships with clients who appreciate his demonstrated technical expertise and superior services. His collaborative approach and aptitude for making the complex simple make him a valuable team member.
With his technical background, Daniel has worked on the design, coordination and construction of high-rise residential, commercial and mixed-use structures. He has often specialized on slender tall structures – with several projects exceeding 200m under construction and completed. His portfolio includes The One, KING Toronto, YC Condos and the MCity towers. With a focus on providing valuable service to all project team members and his work on a number of complex conceptual designs – Daniel is known to provide strong assistance to project partners to make projects a reality by providing efficient structural framing options and a robust understanding of costing needs
Daniel graduated from the University of Toronto’s Engineering Science program with an Infrastructure Option. He initially joined RJC as part of the Building Science and Restoration practice, before transferring into RJC’s structural engineering practice. Daniel completed his Master’s degree at the University of Toronto part time and continued his affiliation with the University by working as a lecturer for three years – teaching the fourth year CIV456 Infrastructure capstone design class. Daniel advances RJC’s technical leadership, assisting with the firm’s software manuals and design guidelines for slab design and lateral load resisting systems.
