Dominic is an effective problem solver with a talent for managing workload in an efficient and diplomatic manner. He is invested in the success and development of his team, providing support and mentorship to junior members. Dominic promotes a collaborative and engaged environment, encouraging those around him to bring forward creative solutions and improved technical applications and protocols for the betterment of the firm. Amongst colleagues and clients, he is known for his exceptional technical aptitude. Dominic understands the value of client service and how critical it is to the overall success of the firm. He cultivates strong and lasting relationships and is regarded as someone with integrity and an ethical approach to doing business.
He has had a pivotal role in numerous large scale high-rise residential and commercial projects, where construction is often fast-tracked and successful completion contributes to RJC’s strong reputation in this area. His experience on some of these technically challenging and complex projects has afforded him the opportunity to develop his ability to think creatively when solving engineering challenges. Some of Dominic’s significant projects include 160 Front, Massey Tower, Calgary City Centre, 25 Richmond Street East (Yonge & Rich) and Irving Oil’s Home Office.
Dominic joined RJC after completing his master’s Degree in Earthquake Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He is based in RJC’s Toronto office after beginning his career in the Vancouver office. He was selected to Chair RJC’s Structural Technical Group, applying his leadership and technical skills to expand RJC’s history of technical excellence. He emphasizes advanced 3D modelling, parametric optimization and structural design interaction.
