St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church was constructed between 1931 and 1933 and is a designated heritage building by the City of Vancouver.
RJC has been working with St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church since the late 1990’s, assisting with masonry repairs, roofing replacement, seismic evaluations, leak investigations, plaster stabilization, and capital planning. The heritage conservation and seismic upgrade project started as a roofing and interior plaster finish replacement project. The intent was to address leaks and consequential damage to the interior plaster.
The scope grew as it became evident that with the interior finishes and roofing removed this was an opportune time to complete a seismic upgrade.
